Aim: to create a framework of actions which will connect the various local tourism initiatives and make them commercially active under the tourism initiative VIA EGNATIA, in cooperation with tour operators in northern Greece who are interested in the development and wish to actively contribute to it.
• Short-term target ( 2014 ) : presentation of the initiative VIA EGNATIA at ITB Berlin 2014 , in the Greek pavilion
• Medium term target (2015 ) : procedure-orientation to a local / regional viable tourism product with secured financial framework
• Long term target ( 2018 ) : Enhancing professionalism in the field of tourism planning (collaboration , product development , marketing), to further develop jointly the VIA EGNATIA as permanent trademark with a position in the internal and international market.
